Alternativa educativa tras aluvión en La Gasca: Las clases se adaptan a modalidad no presencial.
La Secretaría de Educación, Recreación y Deporte del Municipio del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito anunció hoy, 3 de abril de 2024, que, siguiendo las instrucciones del Ministerio de Educación, las clases se trasladan a modalidad no presencial con el objetivo de salvaguardar la seguridad de la comunidad educativa.
Previamente, el Municipio de Quito había informado que un total de 74 instituciones educativas cambiarán su modalidad de clases debido a la interrupción del suministro de agua potable, una situación que se prolongará hasta el viernes 5 de abril.
Esta decisión se tomó tras el desafortunado evento del martes 2 de abril, cuando La Gasca sufrió un aluvión, resultando en una víctima fatal y tres personas heridas. Como parte de las medidas de ayuda, se establecieron cuatro refugios temporales en la Casa Somos La Mariscal, Cochapamba, Atucucho y Bellavista, mientras que los Bomberos evacuaron a 16 personas que se encontraban en las calles Ritter y La Gasca.
A continuación, de acuerdo al Ministerio de Educación, se detallan los 74 planteles educativos que pasan a modalidad virtual:
